This weekend music industry hit markers descend on the first
annual Milk River Seafood and Jerk Festival to take on a great cause of kids
and to support the community. The lineup of D’angel, Raine
Seville, Stylysh, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Wayne J, Sim Sim, The blue Glads band
and more are set to give Clarendonians a day to remember, but before it’s over
some lucky person will drive away in a brand new Tata Nano courtesy of Phoenix
motors and Smokin Acez Media Consultant (SAMC).
The Milk River Seafood and Jerk Festival is an annual event
that attracts thousands of local
residents and tourist alike. Its purpose
is to promote the community of Milk River the home of; the world-famous Milk
River Mineral Bath Hotel and Spa, as an area ripe for community tourism. The
community's rich history dates back to slavery. There is much to be discovered
and enjoyed, make Milk River, Clarendon your destination of choice! Some of the
Proceed from this event will go to the basic schools in the surrounding area
that desperately need assistance.
